Day 96: The girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes.

Kaleidoscope eyes.

Kaleidoscope eyes.

I was playing around on the computerooney today and somehow this happened. I thought it was a perfect photo of the day… because it goes along with the theme of Kaleidoscopic eyes. I subconciously thought of the name KALEIDOSCOPE EYES for my page when I made it…and then later realized it probably came from the Beatles song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she’s gone.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies,
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.

Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you’re gone.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,

Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties,
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile,
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

Day 20: Once & the eye.

Once upon a time, my eye...

Once upon a time, my eye...

Tonight, my little green eyes finally beheld the magic of the movie ONCE! what a delightful little film. Nevermind is the music marvelous to the max… i really appreciate the fact that the whole film was shot with handheld cameras… almost documentary style… which is super cool because that’s what I am going to be doing in my movie making class starting Monday! Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova composed ALL the songs on the film & even though it’s a very simple story line… it’s epic at the same time. Even though the movie didn’t end the way I wanted it to, i LOVED it.
