Baby Hunter!

Today, i took some photos of my friend Kim’s little boy, Hunter! he is ten weeks old and super precious! the photoshoot was short and sweet, because he was sleepy, but I got a couple of cute ones!!!!

this makes my heart happy.

water slides galore.

Starting Monday… Summer will be over for me… today felt like a very summery day. I spent the afternoon with the Dowdy’s & Leslie at the pool. Basking in the sunshine and flying down the crazy waterslides. lovely times indeed.

So. i adore Jason Castro. and his live web chat was FAB tonight. He played two new songs, including his new single, “Let’s Just Fall in Love Again”… which is also his album title. i love this lad to the max and can’t wait for his album. He’s hilarious, awkward, and melts my little heart.

Okay, so obviously this photo is an exaggeration…. [and i took it on photobooth] BUT, i had a super bad reaction to my allergy shot today and my right arm swelled up like a ballooon! The doctor had to examine me & give me emergency Zyrtec! “to take the edge off…” he said…. i felt like he was giving me whiskey or something…. ridiculous! Anyway. my eustachian tubes in my ears are extremely clogged… glands swollen… earache, throatache, nose cloggage! And all on the left side, so i feel a little bit uneven!

celebrating the big 2-0!

We celebrated Leslie’s 20th birthday a day early with filipino food, festivities, and fun. Monika & i were the only un-filipinos at this filipino fest! fun! we watched Coraline & it was delightfullly creepy!

dark clouds.

i had a psychedelic experience while walking today. I felt like i was trapped inside a globular sphere of the most heavenly, monstrous, 3D clouds of LIFE. it was glorious. the cerulean blue sky peeked out behind the white, fluffy clouds …. i thought i was going to trip, or that my head would fall of from the serious cloud gazing going on, but i couldn’t stop looking at the sky. When the walk was over… the sky darkened…. and clouds turned gray & foreboding.

Today was rather delightful despite the rain. Leslie & i decided to go swimming, but after a few setbacks… just drove around Virginia Beach, stopped at Rita’s for an icy treat… walked around Mt. Trashmore in the drizzling rain, since we were in our bathing suits anyway….. later we went to the movies to FINALLY see 500 Days of Summer. it exceeded my expectations and my expectations were pretty dang high. This film is the kind of film that makes me want to be in the movie business. The filming style was beautiful, the plot was intriguing, and the way that the story jumped around frantically, and then put all the pieces together to form one big picture and idea by the end, kept me on the edge of my seat. I left feeling sad…. and wrecked my heart a little bit. but it was real. and beautiful. i love Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel. alot.
